This animated anthology series features original stories set in the worlds of iconic video games. Video games have made a huge leap to the screen, and we’re celebrating the genre with a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his voice role as Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2. The episode takes place after the events of the game.. When I watch cinematic trailers or video game storylines, I often think that some of them will reach the top of the TV show. I knew that the creators of Love Death and Robots would nail another animated anthology series, and I’m glad to be proven right. The Warhammer episode was definitely a highlight for me, and one I really hope to see more of in the future. My only complaint would be to spend more time on certain episodes. There are so many solid video game stories that this show could delve into and adapt into more detailed episodes. The possibilities are very interesting and I’m glad they’ve chosen grit and an adult tone throughout. I’m very happy with what’s been shown so far and I’m looking forward to what’s to come. One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our December calendar for more details!
